Irregular Menstrual Cycle Across Reproductive Years Ups Later CVD Risk

Menstrual irregularity may be tied to later cardiovascular disease (CVD). Among 80,630 women, irregular menstrual cycles at ages 18 to 22 and 29 to 46 years and long cycles (≥40 days) at ages 18 to 22 or 29 to 46 years were associated with higher CVD risk, independent of other risk factors.
