The St. Louis Children's Hospital has outlined a typical pattern of appearance:
- Central incisors (upper and lower front teeth): 5-8 months
- Lateral incisors (next to front teeth): 7-10 months
- First molars: 12-16 months
- Cuspids (eye teeth): 14-20 months
- Second molars: 20-32 months
