Six Meals a Day May Keep High Cholesterol Away

Frequent eating may affect your cholesterol

(HealthDayNews) -- It's no secret that what you eat can affect your cholesterol. Now some scientists say that how often you eat may also play a role.

According to the Mayo Clinic, a British study found that people who ate five or six times a day had 5 percent lower total cholesterol and low-density lipo-protein (bad cholesterol) than people who ate once or twice a day.

What's more, the frequent eaters ate more fat and cholesterol than those getting by on one or two daily meals.
