The radio and driving don't mix

(HealthDayNews) -- Listening to the radio while you drive can be soothing to your nerves, but not your driving skill.

The journal Perceptual Motor Skills says a German university study found that radio programs reduce driving skill. But the good news is, the effect doesn't last all day.

The researchers report that turning on the radio in the morning affects your driving more than at any other time of day.
