Moving Blues

There's a clinical name for the condition

(HealthDayNews) -- Moving is always a stressful time, so you may not be surprised that they have a name for the psychological problems that result.

It's called relocation stress syndrome, also known as RSS, according to Nursing Research.

The symptoms are dependency, confusion, anxiety, depression and withdrawal. The cause is moving from one home to another.

The problem affects anybody who moves to a new home, but elderly people are normally more vulnerable than younger folks, researchers found.

By the way, the test for RSS is the Multidimensional Observation Scale for Elderly Subjects. That's right, the acronym is Moses.
