Patient hesitancy toward digital image sharing may be a challenge for teledermatology adoption. In a survey of 6,437 adults, 53.5% reported reluctance in electronically sharing images and videos with providers. Aversion was highest among those who were 75 years or older (70.9%) and retired (67.3%).
