Physical Inactivity Increases Mortality Risk in Cancer Survivors

Prolonged sitting and physical inactivity may increase the risk for death among cancer survivors. In a study of 1,535 U.S. cancer survivors, sitting more than eight hours per day increased all-cause and cancer-specific mortality when compared with those sitting fewer than four hours per day.
