The overall rate of false-positive results among rapid antigen test screens for SARS-CoV-2 is very low. In a study of 903,408 rapid antigen tests among workers in Canada, 0.05% were false positives, with 60% of those occurring from a single batch of tests, likely indicating a manufacturing issue.
