(HealthDay News) -- Smoke, dust, ozone and other air pollutants can be hazardous to your health. That's especially true if you have a chronic condition such as asthma.
The American Academy of Family Physicians explains air pollution can cause:
Irritation to the lungs, throat and eyes.
A burning sensation of the eyes.
Coughing and a tightness in the chest.
Children may have more frequent episodes of bronchitis and ear pain.
