(HealthDay News) -- Mold is a common allergen that can grow indoors or outside. If you have a mold allergy, your immune system overreacts when you inhale mold spores.

The American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology says possible symptoms of mold allergy include:

  • Stuffy or runny nose.
  • Frequent sneezing.
  • Wheezing or coughing.
  • Itching of the throat or ears.
  • Itching and swelling of the eyes.
  • Difficulty breathing.
