Sedentary Behavior Linked to NAFLD Risk

Sedentary behavior may increase the risk for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NALFD). In an analysis of 1,899 rural-dwelling adults, accelerometer-measured sedentary behavior was associated with an increased likelihood of NAFLD; increasing activity was associated with a reduced likelihood of NAFLD.
