Tips to keep you fresh as you travel

Jet lag can ruin anyone's big trip. After all, who wants to spend a couple of days feeling like you're in the wrong time zone?

The American Academy of Family Physicians has some tips to get you back on your feet:

  • Get lots of sleep before your trip;
  • Go easy on the alcohol;
  • Stick to well-balanced meals and don't overeat;
  • Make sure to exercise regularly;
  • Start living according to the new time zone before arriving there.
