Unpaid Sick Leave Tied to Depression in People With Arthritis

Absence of paid sick leave is a determinant for depressive symptoms among people with arthritis. In an analysis of data from the 2018 National Health Interview Survey, people with unpaid sick leave were more likely to report depressive symptoms vs. those with paid sick leave.
