A Vegetable That's Good for Nothing

Pumpkin isn't great for what ails you

(HealthDayNews) -- Some vegetables reportedly lower cholesterol, can make you smarter, or prevent cancer.

Here's one that apparently doesn't do very much.

Researchers at the Kyoto University in Japan studied a group of local vegetables for their ability to prevent cancer. The journal Bioscience Biotechnology and Biochemistrysays they found that the common pumpkin seemed to do absolutely zilch medically.

But, with some brown sugar, it's still delicious.
