(HealthDay News) -- You don't have to indulge in an unhealthy snack to satisfy your craving for something sweet.

Snack on one of these tempting treats, suggested by the American Heart Association:

  • Canned fruit with no added sugar.
  • A small serving of angel food cake, sliced thin.
  • A baked apple.
  • Fresh fruit.
  • Naturally sweet raisins, or frozen grapes or bananas.
  • Unsweetened low-fat fruit yogurt.
