Here's how much you should eat
(HealthDayNews) -- You're always being told to eat stuff because it's good for you. But you're never really told how much of it you should eat.
The journal Free Radical Research has developed a list of foods that contain almost equal amounts of some of the more common antioxidants. So you can get your daily intake from:
- 1 glass of red wine, or 1-2 glasses of white wine.
- 2 cups of tea, or about 2 quarts of beer.
- 4 apples, or 5 medium onions, or 5.5 large slices of eggplant.
- 7 glasses of orange juice, or 20 glasses of apple juice.
