If you go by the label, not all that many. At least not in one bottle. Trouble is, they add up.
The School of Public Health, University of Minnesota, decided to find out what the real-life calorie intake was among people who drink soda.
As reported in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association, they polled 1,810 people of all ages. Those who drank regular soda averaged 2,018 calories a day from all sources, while those who didn't drink the stuff averaged 1,830 calories every day.
