FRIDAY, Dec. 27, 2002 (HealthDayNews) -- There's a new Web site that makes it easier for women to overcome barriers to breast-feeding.
The site, called GotMom.org, was created by the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM), offers solutions to daily breast-feeding barriers such as acceptance, embarrassment and harassment.
The information provided on the site is based on feedback midwives get from mothers about their fears related to breast-feeding. The site offers a wide variety of solutions to those fears and problems.
ACNM plans to release a Spanish-language version of GotMom.org in 2003.
